Sam Houston Equestrian Center weathered the storm without a scratch. All the horses were fine thanks to the amazing preparations made by everyone at the stables. Across the road, the horses seemed okay but the barn is now without a roof. Tatonka's mother and Spirit (his dad) next door seemed okay too. A few trees were down.

Near Hobby Airport (where I live) we lost a lot of trees. Garden Villas has pecan tree-lined streets and dozens of them were across the roads and powerlines. Luckily, only a few fell on homes. No one was hurt. Best of all, my house has power already and we are in the clean-up phase. Hopefully, all of our riders are safe and comfortable. Things should get back to normal soon.
